Featuring the creations of various artists on display in the hallways outside the sanctuary. As the initial exhibit introducing this series, “BRUSHES WITH AMERICA” will debut, with the works of realist illustrator and designer Ron Beckham.
Posters designed to promote this opening are available in the narthex, hallway and office, and if you can hang them up where you work, live or frequent, please pick up a few before leaving today.
You are invited to participate in next Sunday’s potluck in the Great Hall following worship. As part of this gathering, Ron Beckham will be introduced and respond to questions about his work. He’ll also be available with the display following the potluck luncheon.
Ron’s hometown is Cincinnati, and he dedicated much of the last decade to overseeing the retail-store look of Cleveland-based American Greetings. He has received numerous honors and awards for his designs and illustrations and has gained growing recognition for his techniques with watercolor, oil and acrylic illustration. He looks forward to his time with us with great anticipation.
